The College of Agriculture Baramati is affiliated to Mahatma Phule Agriculture University; Rahuri (M.S.). Today Indian agriculture needs highly competent & multi disciplinary human resource. Hence Agriculture Development Trust took this opportunity of investing in people for giving a cadre of highly competent human resource in the field of Agriculture. The Agriculture Development Trust started this college with Approved No. Vidya 6/ Approval.1354/5921/2003 dated 8/10/2003 by the Executive council of Mahatma Phule Agriculture University; Rahuri (M.S.) under the Maharashtra Agricultural University Act 1983 Sec.31 (11). The College has been started in pursuit of rural development through agricultural education. This is in response to the need and challenges of globalization. This is a concrete proof of Agriculture Development Trust's recognition of value and potential of the science and continuous efforts to create trained manpower requires in Agriculture.
